Metal Safety Shields (RAMCO Spray Control)
The RAMCO Spray Control (RSC) is a heavy-duty metal safety shield. Manufactured from corrosion-resistant 316 stainless steel, the Spray Control Shield features a quick-release clasp for rapid tool-free installation and an integrated mesh layer designed to disperse and control hazardous spray and mist. Independently tested by TREO GmbH (Germany) for spray control at pressures up to 300 bar, and DNV Type Approved for SOLAS applications, it is suited to steam lines, high-temperature oil and fuel systems, cryogenic service, offshore installations and other demanding industrial environments.

316 stainless steel safety shields can suit steam, hot oils, fuels and mechanically demanding applications. Select them based on pipe bore, flange class, connection geometry, operating pressure, temperature, chemical compatibility and release conditions. A 300-bar spray test is test evidence, not a universal operating-pressure rating, and any DNV SOLAS approval should be checked against the specific application. Safety shields help contain or redirect hazardous releases but do not prevent gasket failure or replace inspection and maintenance.
